We have some news to share about our 2025 pricing. For the first time in over two years, we’re making a slight adjustment to the base cost of select Hiker Trailer models. We know any price change can cause questions, so we’d like to be as transparent as possible about why we’ve made this decision—and, importantly, how it benefits you, our valued customers.
Why We’re Adjusting Prices
The cost of raw materials and labor has risen significantly across the industry. We’ve worked hard to absorb these expenses for as long as possible without having to raise our prices. However, to continue delivering the standard of quality you expect from a Hiker Trailer, we needed to make a slight price increase.

Continual Improvements “Under the Hood”
We haven’t just adapted to changing costs; we’ve been busy enhancing every aspect of our trailers behind the scenes. Over the last year, we’ve made dozens of subtle but impactful design changes that make each Hiker Trailer tougher, more comfortable, and easier to maintain. Here are a few highlights:
- Upgraded Hardware
We’ve moved to stainless steel hardware in critical areas most exposed to the elements. This significantly boosts corrosion resistance and prolongs the lifespan of your trailer’s components. - Redesigned Galley Shelving
We now offer more galley options than ever before and have made subtle design changes to improve the durability and integrity of the rear galley storage area. - Standardized Wiring
Due to popular demand, we’re working toward standardizing our wiring across all models. Not only does this simplify troubleshooting and future add-ons, but it also helps maintain our NFPA 1192 compliance. The streamlined wiring overhaul adds a small cost, but results in big advantages for DIYers and upgraders alike.
Remaining the Best Value for Money
Our promise is to provide you with the best value travel trailer on the market. Even with these adjustments, a Hiker Trailer still delivers impressive bang for your buck. By striking a careful balance between affordability and quality, we hope to put adventure within reach of everyone—without sacrificing the features and craftsmanship that set us apart.
Conveniences & Future Plans
More Remote Locations for Service, Sales, and Support
We’re continually expanding our partnerships across the country so you can find a trusted Hiker Trailers location closer to home. This means more service options, faster parts availability, and a more personal touch wherever your travels take you.
Improved Financing Options
In 2024, we introduced New Coast Financial and added a financing calculator to our website to help you explore rates and payment plans that fit your budget. Looking ahead, we aim to keep growing our financing network to help even more adventurers become Hiker Trailer owners at terms that work for them.
New & Upgraded Models
We’re thrilled about the success of the Highway Lite and Gear Loft models launched in 2024—small, affordable campers designed for those who crave adventure. In 2025, we’ll unveil even more exciting additions and upgrades. Our goal is to give customers the models they want—affordable, high-quality, and customizable—so you can find the perfect fit for your next adventure.
